I feel the same way. Album is cool to me....I only like a handful of songs but this mostly ain't for me. Just like "Pinata" mostly wasn't for trap/melodic Gibbs fans. There's some over lap....fans from both groups will like songs from albums that don't cater to them....I like a gang of his trap/melodic shyt but prefer songs like "World So Cold" and "Freddie Soprano".

But that's the beauty of Gibbs catalog. He had a song with Gucci Mane and another song with Black Thought on "Shadow Of A Doubt"....nobody is really doing shyt like that in 2018.

Fred.

Exactly!

I think I fall in both camps because of every "version" of Gibbs we've gotten, I've loved something from all of them.

If somebody asked me to put a Gibbs mix together it'll have Walk of Shame, Careless, Oil Money, Extradite, Deep etc. on it. There wouldn't be one Gibbs style on it more than others.

I just think Gibbs is versatile enough to make a 5* version of any type of song he tries. He could literally start rappin' over Nujabes/Dilla style jazzy beats and I'm sure it wouldn't take more than 4 or 5 tracks into the style for him to make a top tier version of that sound.

The 2nd half of the album is better than the first.

Do you guys think this is better, worse, or equal to Shadow of a Doubt/You Only Live 2wice? I'm still not sure.

I love Gibbs' shyt and have been fukking with him since ESGN but I'm really looking forward to Bandana because I think we've had a run of similar sounding Gibbs for a minute.

My personal ranking between the three goes:

Shadow Of A Doubt
You Only Live 2wice
Freddie
