Gibbs is a great rapper but he always came across as a try hard. Not saying he’s not really from the streets but :yeshrug:

Currensy is one of the most laid back cats in the industry. I’m willing to bet this is just Gibbs doing the most. Never heard anyone say anything bad about Spitta.
I used to think le$ was sending shots after he left initially… But it seems like they’re good now

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Freddie was just annoyed at his homie and actually expressed it in public. Never got the sense that it was anything even a tiny bit serious. There's no beef.
For one. If u my homie. I’m speaking to u in private. Especially if u not a public person. Also. Even if I did say it. I wouldn’t be STILL saying it publically years later, if u my homie. Imma say it and it’s one and done. Not say it to anyone willing to listen.

And that was off the momentum from the Fetti project. If u don’t remember. Imma jog ur memory. People was fiending for more Gibbs after Fetti. And I’m talking about album reviewers etc etc. By the time Bandana dropped it got that media treatment.

Now this is a major stretch. People were waiting on Bandana, which came out a year later. Fetti was a nice appetizer while waiting for the main dish. Fetti is the only Gibbs collab album that didn't even chart so I get why he views it as a missed opportunity.

Honestly. What would even be the significance of doing that on purpose? How would it benefit him? U think the nikka can’t come up with his own album title? U nikkas have y’all bias and just throw logic out the window.

There doesn't necessarily have to be a significance, sometimes people do things just to do it/because they can.

We all have bias and have tendacies to treat it the same way. Im not applying any in this thread though.

Everybody knows that Gibbs is emotional. My question is, is that not some hoe shyt to commit to a joint project, do the verses, and not promote it? Currensy would barely promote the artists on his label like T.Y. and Fendi. I don't know if that changed now cause I haven't been keeping up with Jet Life lately, but nikkas just keep excusing flaw behaviour with the excuse "that's just how he is." That doesn't make it right.

Well he's explained his philosophy on it and music in general. He said in response to this situation that if the music is good then he feels that the fans will give it life, and it will speak for itself. He doesn't feel that it's necessary to "tell" people that it's good. Same for the artists in his crew. He drops Jet Life projects to showcase their talents and then lets the fans gravitate to them organically.

In reality I'm sure the situation would be avoided if Gibbs spoke to him and had a plan.

When did Freddie hop on Twitter and air Spitta out? That 2009 album was getting no CRAZY promo either. It’s naturally gonna come off that way because Wiz was a superstar and it’s their first collab in years.

They went on a whole tour lol

Shot BTS

Did a video lol

If you do more for a project with another rapper that comes out 3 months after ours, I'll feel a type of way
