As someone who thinks Griselda is a tad overrated…I can read Freddie’s mind here. It’s one thing to think Benny and Conway are comparable to Gibbs—-imo gibbs is easily superior—-but it’s a whole other thing to mention WSG. He makes good music but it’s an insult to compare him as a rapper to Gibbs. And that’s what was setting him off.

Pretty crazy to think that this all started from this. And I wouldn’t even blame WSG I’d say the hipster goofball interviewer spent way too much time on Griselda—-something a lot of folk do, as if ‘do you like Griselda’ is a prerequisite for modern hip hop—-Freddie tried to be diplomatic but he couldn’t really hide his true feelings…which was probably ‘Aight bruh them nggas ain’t THAT nice chill’.
