I like the show, its lighter and less intelligent than the original but a good comfort watch. Theres been a few duds so far but 4 out of 6 eps this season so far I liked. The characters feel natural at this point, not forced.

They're doing better than That 90s Show. I can still see it being cancelled because streamer models are dumb. If a TV show is not an instant hit its cancelled, regardless of the fact that most classic shows took time to catch on, especially sitcoms.

no more tossed salad and scrambles eggs, yay

Yeah I'm not surprised, I think that format has had its day tbh. What was the last studio based sitcom that was actually popular? How I Met Your Mother? I think audiences don't really dig the audience/canned laughter 2D sitcom style.

I read that CBS is going to shop it to other networks, but if Grammer wants them to match his ridiculous payday, I don't see it happening.

What else has he done :dwillhuh:

Other than Cecil on the Simpsons
before he was Frasier on Fraiser, he was Fraiser on Cheers

When the series ended in 2004, Grammer had portrayed the character of Frasier Crane for a total of 20 years, including his nine seasons on Cheers plus a one-time performance as the character on the series Wings, which earned Grammer an Emmy nomination. At the time, he tied James Arness' portrayal of Matt Dillon on Gunsmoke for the longest-running character on American primetime television.[23] The record has since been surpassed in animation by the voice cast of The Simpsons, and in live action by Richard Belzer's portrayal of John Munch and Mariska Hargitay's portrayal of Olivia Benson (both on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, among several other series). Grammer was briefly the highest-paid television actor in the United States for his portrayal of Frasier, while Jane Leeves was the highest-paid British actress.
