It's shady because what exactly does Prince's music have to do with homosexuality? nothing

It was the way Prince dressed that really seemed to catch this dude's attention, he doesn't need to be sayin shyt like this about a dead man who didn't care for the homosexual lifestyle twisting it in a way that seems like Prince would approve. He never even went to a Prince show yet Prince "inspired" him? ok :comeon:

I've been to a Prince show and I'm not even a big fan like that

Prince has a lot of music that bends traditional gender norms :usure:

go listen to If I Was Your Girlfriend again

same with Bowie. Not hard to see why a gay person would gravitate towards artists like that.

Its two sentences out of a lengthy tribute that he posted about what Prince meant to him, not that serious.

He specifically acknowledges that yes, Prince was straight, he just admired his freedom to dress and act how he wanted which inspired him to be himself. Not seeing how he's trying to make Prince out to be some kind of gay icon.

Prince was NOT a fakkit.

nikkaz like Young Thug THINK they're channeling their inner Prince by callin' nikkaz "bae", but Prince wasn't on that sweet shyt. It was all about the females, even though, he'd rock said females clothes, simply because she wasn't rockin' it right

Yeah Prince was a devout JW....so this shyt is hilarious to me

A devout JW that wore butt-out pants and charms blowpop body suits...

:mjlol:

The man said Prince was a STRAIGHT MAN who did not conform to the standards of masculinity...EVER. Even after androgyny stopped being the jam he was still looking like a doe eyed bytch

THAT kind of bravery to be yourself is what Frank is talking about, whether that means you're gay or wanna be a rapper wearing toe rings and shop in the women's section...ain't shyt disrespectful or "twisting" anything about Prince's religious views in acknowledging his influence on breaking gender stereotypes.

When asked about his perspective on social issues gay marriage, abortion Prince tapped his Bible and said, “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’ ”

:skip:

His camp said he was misquoted though, coulda just been a PR move but still, JW's a fukking insane. That kind of comment would be light work

Did you guys read it or just focus on the part where he referenced his sexuality, then wildly misinterpret it to fit your narrative? He said nothing wrong here.

Dudes in here acting like Frank was making out with Prince posters in his room. :scust: It's not that serious.
