toxic avenger is the original movie and it is very dark and violent but it is also comedy. Once you watch it you will wonder how in the fukk they made a children cartoon out of that movie.

More deaths without the possibility of return. Perhaps a stronger military presence developing mass amounts of droids that would become increasingly stronger than cell ( given the curve of technological advancement) and actually pose a threat to Goku and friends. Depending on the timing of these androids they could wipe gokus entire team out in the earlier years. World powers would likely have a huge issue with one guy essentially being a global threat. With no hidden indentity gokus friends and family are locked up or killed he's forced on the run while trying to protect the same world that wants to kill him. Insert substance abuse, PTSD, not so happy memories of turning into an ape and destroying cities, and cults who think Goku is god and begin killing and forming suicide pacts in his name.
Not saying that it would be dope but maybe something a little more tragic.

I have to go with Daredevil. The setting is already there (Hells Kitchen) and you have the criminal overlord in the Kingpin. I would even like to see them do a game in the same style as Arkham Asylum.
