Ain’t nothing like neo-colonial maintanence of century old systems of racial stratification. Then when the region is even further destabilized than it already is after successive coups, French media will decry the sudden influx of sanctuary seekers from the Sahel region. The foreign meddling becomes even more overt when it’s a non-white nation wanting to exist outside of the established capitalist framework. The understandable reflexive apprehension at the suggestion of nations on the continent acquiring real military deterrence is probably the most annoying facet of the whole discussion.

France clearly still has colonial and empire status tendencies, its up to these african countries to promote unity not division and to promote strong and sound economy policies to help the population of their countries and stop any further exploitation

I haven't kept up with how many weapons China is selling in Africa, but I've lived front row to see how the West is manipulating foreign countries.
They're all the same just in varying degrees of method and trickery.
We'll need to eventually dislodge the Arabs and all their vestiges, a topic still too raw and unthinkable for most.
