Canty isn't bad. He's articulate and knows sports. The problem is that he isn't really a TV GUY. meaning someone with catchphrases and over the top to do things for tv. Guys like Skip, Shannon, Wiley, Jalen Rose, even Bart scott are made for tv. Canty imo is more of a radio guy but I do like him

Yes Canty is articulate and knows sports but dude is a robot... says all the cliches...he's on the fence on just about everything..as an example, he picked the Ravens and explained why the Ravens would beat the Patriots and then said I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots pulled it out..you can see dude doesn't want backlash from anyone...

Cris had dropped F-bombs multiple times on the show and didn’t get in trouble. I’m sure that trim shyt didn’t have any effect. Plus it’s not something super blatant. It’s innuendo so it gets a pass. I’m sure him making a big fuss to execs was the main reason. He thought he was bigger than the show and turns out he isn’t.
