Donate what you feel. I don't mean you as an individual should donate to a candidate I mean Black people should donate to political candidates if they want tangibles.
To get a midsized city mayor's attention you'd have to give up tens of thousands of dollars at least. But if you feel strongly about a local or even a national candidate feel free to slide them a couple of bucks and or volenteer for their campaign. I mean a politican may not do anything for Black people as a whole but you can get some personal butter biscuts for yourself working with a candidate.
