The EXACT reason why the logic of being a billionaire and cheap is fukking stupid. Dude can't take ANY of that shyt with him. Would have been better off enjoying his money. None of us know when our time will end:manny:

Breh that doesn't mean he wasn't happy cause he lived like that. Folks be thinking frugal folks are unhappy and that is far from the truth. Some people have money and spend it 24/7 and are unhappy. While at the same time you got frugal folks who live modest lives and are as happy as can be.

I can't fault a man or woman who is happy living the way they want so long as they ain't hurting anyone.

How you know he didn't enjoy his money. I can imagine once you become rich, it gets boring pretty quickly. You travel the world three times over. You buy the Benzes, Range Rovers, Bentleys. You party every other night. You fukk a bunch of bad bytches. You buy 8 bedroom mansions. Then what? He had been rich since he was 26 so he likely did everything there was to do and wanted to do good with his money instead.

I wonder if he died trying to help others get to safety. This is The Coli, where acts of selflessness are looked down upon, but I respect a person that doesn’t think of themselves above others.
RIP,

The Death of Zappos’s Tony Hsieh: A Spiral of Alcohol, Drugs and Extreme Behavior

What a story. He retired from Zappos in August, but he's been on a downward spiral since the pandemic hit. He liked to party and had a newfound obsession with fire, also started experimenting with mushrooms and ecstasy. He left Vegas, bought a new home in Utah, and had a lot of people living there, paying some of them salaries. Supposedly, he was preparing to check-in to a rehab in Hawaii before dying in a shed at his girlfriend's house in Connecticut due to smoke inhalation. Before going to the shed he asked the people there to check on him every 5 minutes. Dude fell apart. Was a very giving person.

My dude was trying to deprive himself of oxygen just to see if he could survive it. :gucci:

I felt really bad for him dying "all of a sudden" before but now that this info is out, he was playing with fire and got burned

Yeah, he's saving his money .... so that he could spend it on drugs, alcohol, and thrillseeking adventures :francis:

1.Never seen anyone do well long term taking whippets (nitrous oxide)
2.Everyone needs to make a will
3.He must’ve been forced out of Zappos by Amazon
4.See point number 1
