It’s like people don’t remember when idk everything that dropped wasn’t a home run, this is a solid game so far

Yeah, im fukking with it as well and like I thought the dialogue isn’t that bad at all even the cringey parts everyone keeps posting isn’t that bad with added context

Yeah unless this completely shyts the bed going forward this seems good. Graphics are lacking ofc but I just fought the dragon n even with the lil itty bit amount of skills u have so far I can see this having some epic ass shyt in it.

Kind of like I thought, its much better when you start out with a few spells and get to build your way up and learn how to switch, for some reason the stuff from the demo actually makes sense to me now lol

The cringe so far has been minimal to non existent even the lil banter they have. This is me being as objective as possible since like I said the demo made me want to mute this bytch.

Dialogue/story has been played pretty straight. Im curious to see where this game falls apart and is a 5/10 lol

Not bad at all so far, some of the cursing is a little unnecessary but it fits Frey's storyline.

I hope these forced cinematics aren't all through out the game. That'd be my only complaint so far.

I watched a few reviews where they try to give samples of the dialogue to "prove" how bad the writing is for Frey, and it honestly felt like some corny incel shyt where they were just mad at playing as a black woman. There was legit nothing wrong with her. The random NPCs definitely feel awkward like the ones you meet in modern English VAed FF games, but no one ever complains about that shyt in FF games.

no one ever complains about that shyt in FF games

I hope this game sells well as to not sway developers away from Black characters, but those were good examples, the writing is bad. I'd argue that FF writing is camp and has anime tropes to fall back on, people expected G.O.W tier dialogue which isn't great, but it works.
