CW-2 went to Senior Director of Talent Relations Mark Carrano for an update and was told by Carrano that McMahon and Bin Salman got into an argument over late payments regarding WWE Super ShowDown, which took place in June 2019. Carrano also told CW-2 that McMahon did cut the Crown Jewel feed, which made the Crown Prince "very mad."

CW-2 ended up being part of the "Top 20" who flew back the United States ahead of the rest of the crew in hopes of making it to SmackDown. CW-2 and another co-worker went to Talent Relations and told them they wouldn't go back to Saudi Arabia. It's noted that other wrestlers tried to do the same, but WWE "abused their power" and "threatened careers."

Also, as part of the amendment, an employee (referred to as CW-1) of the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC) stepped forward and said WWE and MBC could not agree on the basic assumptions of a proposed deal. CW-1 said that WWE had "wildly unreasonable expectations of the revenue it expected from a potential partner," proposing an $80 million annual licensing fee for a projection of 100 million "OTT" subscribers. MBC projected only 6.5 million subscribers at first, before raising expectations for 15 million to appease WWE.

WWE reduced its licensing fee ask to $50 million, but MBC felt they couldn't go above $14.5 million, which led to negotiations ending.

As of now, WWE has yet to agree on a new broadcast deal in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region

OSN the largest satilitte network really fukked WWE too on this.
They signed a deal with them in 2014 to air all their WWE programming live (Raw Smackdown, NXT Main Event Vintage) on their sports channel and have the network as both a channel on their package and the network on demand so all PPVs free...... and then abruptly their CEO decided because they were losing money on their entertainment channels (had big deals to air stuff same time as HBO etc but everyone was either using streaming or illegal bootlegging) and their sports package with WWE/UFC/Golf/CaC Euro sports/NHL was losing to rival Bein Sports (former Al Jazeera who has the contract for World Cup, Olympics, all the Europen Soccerr leagues, NBA, NFL and MLB) they just decided We're dropping all our sports channels rather unexpectedly giving only 2 weeks notice (and 2 weeks before Wrestlemania 35)

This fukked WWE (and everyone else) badly cause that was the deal that was making them money in the middle east. MBC is more like a broadcast channel for the entire Middle East but they only air Main Event and a condensced version of Raw which was 7 days after it airs, it wasnt the big WWE TV deal just more like a syndicated one. But with OSN gone and their footprint in the middle east suddenly dissappeared, they trying to put the pressure on MBC to pay more even offer more for their programming but they not interested

They kinda screwed in that region, Bein got too many contracts and I doubt they'll pay for all of WWE or interested and then the alternative is like Abu Dahbi sports which could barefly afford and cut Impact
