Punk who went in the opposite direction
Shamrock who was a main eventer in UFC when he was Larry Holmes status, WWE midcarder in his prime

It's really only Ronda who matches that description

I don't have a problem with MMA fighters transitioning to pro wrestling. I just think we need to reserve the legit MMA ass kicker gimmicks to the stars like Brock, Ronda and Velasquez if he's going to give it a shot. Shayna Bazzler can just be a tough chick who's friends with Rousey and I don't know how legit Josh Woods in ROH is but he can also just be a tough guy or have another gimmick.
