Essentially? Yes. Hell I'm still waiting on reparations, but we all can't get what we want. That debt needs to be forgiven and people should encouraged to attend community college first to figure out if they want to get a degree or a trade. There should be a cap on tuition for public universities or loans for school shouldn't be as easy to get as they are (maybe a combination of both).

This is reasonable

Why is there so much commotion about him joining the race?

The Democrats need to be able to address the peeling off of voters to a third party candidate. It happens every year.

At some stage shouldn't they accept it is going to happen, and see what can be done to mitigate it instead of trying to convince people not to run? Anyone should be able to run if they want. That shouldn't stop you from winning.
People are just shytting on him because he is a shytty politician.the only people voting for him are those who were going to vote 3rd party regardless of who runs.

Oh he from the hood? :ohhh:

He had a 60 Minutes profile a while back and in it he talked about how his Dad was blue caller worker of some sort and how after getting injured he couldn't work and it was a hardship on the family. They then go on about how Starbucks offers health insurance to all its employees even part-timers. They spent more on insurance than they did coffee. I gave him a lot of kudos for that. So it is extra weird how he doesn't support M4A, at least in some form.

MSNBC has reportedly cut ties with political analyst Steve Schmidt because he is advising billionaire Howard Schultz on a possible independent bid for the U.S. presidency.

According to the Free Beacon, MSNBC is dropping Schmidt as a contributor after Schultz this week appeared to be moving forward with his presidential plans.

Earlier this week, journalist Eleanor Clift criticized Schmidt for supporting a possible “spoiler” in the presidential race.

“And the danger is, you’re going to elect the candidate you least want to elect,” Clift warned on Sunday. “Steve Schmidt has spent the last two years kind of apologizing for his role in getting Sarah Palin on the ticket with John McCain.”

“I think he’d think long and hard about being part of another effort that could well turn out not like wants it to,” she added.

Once he sees that he is polling at less than 5% and unable to raise his polling numbers over time, he will drop out.

Right now, he is delusional and thinks he has a real chance. But reality will eventually sink in. In today's polarized environment, it is virtually impossible for a third party candidate to achieve polling numbers even close to what either of the two major party candidates would have.

The 'two party system' brigade already at full speed... disqualifying Allepo/FDR type flubs by third parties and standing by super predators/[insert trump interview] when its the establishment...:wow:

Yep, we gonna have to destroy and rebuild... change is hopeless.:wow:
