See it a lot more these days. This belief that blacks are getting jobs not due to aptitude but due to woke culture and some kind of preferential treatment. The voices are getting louder. Isn’t that some shyt? Statistically we are paid less than our less qualified peers and still dealing with this shift.

This is propaganda. Plenty of black men and women should be filing the same suit.

When other races do it…no one bats an eye.

Its always been that way, now social media.

They believe blacks are inherently 3rd class and deserving of only serving at McDonald's or working as a janitor.

Most of these none blacks feel that way

Yes. Even in work settings. Managers holding back black employees because thry feel thry have achieved enough. shyt is inherent. We need more black people inpositions of power. I’ve been helped on a few occasions by black people in exec positions and I’m forever grateful.

And we are seeing more Asian bosses. Good fukking luck. They’re worse.

“I have been a good fit,” Carreón argued at the town hall, saying she connected with immigrant parents and upheld high expectations for students.

so it's wrong to factor in him being black, but ok to factor in her being an immigrant/2nd gen for hiring decisions :what:

“Carreón’s lawyers, Davida Perry and Brian Heller, also have pending race-discrimination suits against the DOE on behalf of four white womenand a white male who all claim that ex-Chancellor Carranza demoted and replaced them with less-qualified people of color.”

So she got lawyers who are suing the DOE because her ex-boss put POC(one of them possibly her) on. They claim people like her are less qualified then she turns around and does the same to us.

Whites suing the “POC” and the “POC” suing Black people lol

Sadly, she has evidence - the Facebook posts and the comments at the superintendent orientation - that race was a factor in the selection.

Also keeping her salary the same will be a factor in damages - she missed out on $25k - $35k annually due to their selection.

If you’re a sup for 10+ years, that’s a lot of money.

The board of ed should settle and next time keep shyt off Facebook and do not make comments like the ones mentioned in the article.

People of color are fighting over crumbs and it is only going to get worse in public sector employment.

how did she get "screwed" ?
According to the article , she hired the dude and took him under her wings. Even encouraged him to pursue a superintendent position ( He wanted a position in the Bronx) . Who wouldn't feel some type of way if that happened to them lol
