Dogs ate the corpse?
Dog gonna dog. His job was to feed the dogs. He did his job to the bitter end. It's the beauty of primal nature. Sheeeet a while back I saw a story of a man in Asia who left his dogs for a month and his dogs mauled him death when he came back. In hindsight he should have thrown some steaks over the gate or shot all of them to death. Dogs will dog.
