when and 1 first started it was super dope. Once it got commercial, it became this kind of garbage show ball.

Sauce was my dude growing up. Dude has been embarrassing people with the same move set since he debuted in Vol. 3 over a decade ago.

I won't lie though. I know you all remember The Pharmacist coming at Sauces head around season 5 or so. Dude was relentless and had my man frustrated.
And1 was a fad, but they really lost their allure when they went commercial. Implemented a "coach" who was an idiot and took the focus away from entertaining. Yeah you want to win the games, but if we wanted to see straight up ball being played, we'd buy a ticket to a NBA game and see it done professionally.
Dudes also started getting huge egos when all the Mountain Dew, other endorsements and video games started coming. I'll never forget a couple guys such as Main Event trying to fight Rafer Alston - Skip2MyLou - when he came back to hoop with 'em for a few episodes. He had made it to the NBA and the jealousy was real.
Still have the tapes laying around...I used to record the episodes and practice the moves. When I learned how to do the boomerang
