On some realium shyt, im more disturbed that folks were complicit with the bullshyt for so long. Honestly, ive seen way too many people being cool with their ugly clothing from the archetype of guys they had as models which always young white men with the same look and build looking like they were stuck at 18. There was one creepy ass video that i saw in 2011 because it went "viral" where they had with like 50 white male models shirtless at some japan store opening where they were lipsyncing to that call me maybe song dancing around with each other on some homoerotic shyt and trying to woo teenage girls. They damn near all looked the same. Same hairstyle, body type and looking artificial af.
i guess the ceo thought it was cute but that shyt was disgusting and disturbing. I knew something was completely off like those guys probably were on their back the ceo or something else
And the fukked up part is if you called that shyt out or said it was weird, someone who was a supporter of that bullshyt would say "youre jealous that you dont look like them or want to be them" or "youre a hater". All this complicitness in weirdness. So many people supported that business or wanted to be apart of that bullshyt. Thats when you would see the insecure men in their 20s on sites like the misc bodybuilding forum yapping about "aesthetics" and "strong jaw line" thinking if they could look like those models that their lives would be better and they would get women or men to notice them. Same clowns would be turning around blaming black men talking about "i cant get women because they want BBC" . All that fueled a lot of insecurity and toxicity. That whole abercombie and fitch was a real cancer to culture. fukked a lot of minds up thinking that shyt was cute or that something wasnt right with them because they didnt fit their club.
