this film is a masterpiece. It won the grand jury prize at Sundance in 1990 and it is based on the life of a real life scammer out of Detroit named William Douglas Street Jr. Still relevant today, esp given how many mfs out here scamming and finessing in 2022. the industry did Wendell so dirty. Jordan Peele on his 3rd movie but this dude only got one. sad.
