Forest Whitaker is a great actor but I don't see him to play Martin Luther King Jr so I guess they want a biggest star to draw them money.

What about Chiwetel Ejiofor? Do you think he can pull it off for playing as Martin Luther King Jr?...I think he can.

Jeffrey Wright played him back in the day in a HBO movie, he did a good job with the MLK mannerisms with the voice and his cadence. I think that he is older he looks more like him now.
