He got cast in Rogue One. Am I wrong here? Sam never felt right in the prequels, everytime he came on screen all I could think was "Why the fukk is Sam Jackson in this movie?" I feel like that's gonna happen with this one. It's gonna be a bunch of fairly known up and coming British actors... and big ass Forest Whitaker.

I'm not exactly sure why British accents in a galaxy far far away is cool but a guy like Whittaker who can lead or blend in isn't.

I agree with the Sam Jackson part. He tried to be restrained and it came across a forced. He didn't have the cool laid back demeanor of his Jules character in Pulp Fiction. He would've been better served sitting on the Council or whatever it was, instead of being a jedi. Whitaker can actually display a full range of emotions within one scene, Jackson hasn't shown that he can do that consistently.

Sam Jackson being in Star Wars would have been distracting if he was dressed as a Storm Trooper. it was just weird to see him in Star Wars. He's distracting in Avengers movies too. Sam Jackson is just an actor who i see as Sam Jackson, not really as the part he's playing.

oh stop. Act like when you see Sam Jackson in a movie, you don't just think "Sam Jackson" regardless of what character he's playing. Same goes for Bruce Willis, and he's white. Bruce Willis was in 5th Element, but putting him in a massive franchise like Star Wars would be distracting as a mother fukker. All i would think is "why is Bruce Willis in this movie? They couldn't find someone else?"

Forest might be unfair, i guess he has some range... but i still always just see Forest Whitaker. There are tons of actors like this. Adrien Brody is another non-black for you guys.

... oh and Will Smith is gonna be distracting as a mother fukker in a superhero movie even if he's in a mask for 50% of it. He shouldn't be in a superhero movie.
