I knew McNulty was British, because I used to hang around British people and he has British mannerisms. It was funny in that one scene where he is pretending to be a American guy doing a British accent.

But Idris Elba, that really threw me off. I was like :ohhh:, that nikka is British, Wtf?

Gary Oldman for sure, Jax from SOA.

Damien Lewis, I saw him in Band of Brothers first, and was like he is British? wtf?

Jason Isaacs, I first saw him in Black Hawk Down, and was like he is British too? :wtf:

If you look at the casts of Batman Begins and Dark Knight, its all Brits: Bale, Oldman, Caine, Liam Neeson, Tom Wilkinson. Then add Dark Knight and you have Heath Ledger (Australian). When they were promoting Begins and Bale was relatively unknown, he was speaking in interviews with an american accent.

:ohhh::ehh:

Also, had no idea about Andrew Garfield, when i saw the Social Network and Spider-Man.

And Hugh Jackman for sure, he plays an american in 90% of his movies

Bale is kind of a weirdo, bruh. He has a different accent in basically every interview he does. The leading theory is that he's a method actor and basically gets stuck in character for periods of time.

Compare how he's talking in that interview where he sounds like Bruce Wayne compared to this one which was before American Hustle started filming and he sounds almost like his character from that movie, like he's still trying to figure out the mannerisms, speech patterns, tone, etc

And then this one where he sounds like some weird mix of Australian and Bostonian :heh:
