Companies often make contracts with celebrities that they will rock their product exclusively as promotion, that's how a lot of celebs make some side money or get free stuff. Cena got the car for free so he could drive around and promote it for two years and Cena broke that contract.

That shyt happens all the tine really. i remember a couple years ago Charlize Theron was sued for wearing a Dior watch to some event because she was contractually obligated to wear a different brand by a sponsor.
