Why is Idris always the go to for any black super hero role? You all do realize that there are other talented black actor's out there right?

Superheroes need to have a commanding presence. Idris doesn't just have that, he basks in it. That's why it's easy to make him first pick on every role, especially since he also got most of his peers beat in talent.

I'd give Tyrese a shot. These same execs give actors like Tim Riggins (fukk his real name), Sam Worthington, Colin Farrell, Alex Pettyfer, Josh Harnett several chances at blockbuster success. Tyrese actually has successful movies under his belt. Tyrese played serious roles in Waist Deep, Death Race, Legion, Annapolis and Transformers, so the opinion he's a one trick guy is unfounded.

Tyrese comes across with too much of that over the top cool/smooth/semi-arrogant know it all vibe in all of his roles. Just to varying degrees. He comes across the same exact way in his "beef" vids that I've seen from him. His response to this article is a perfect example. There are several other actors like that in Hollywood. Tatum, *Riggins, Worthington, Diesel to name a few. When I hear of a movie with them in it my first reaction is

Sounds like its cool to give scrub white actors a $80 million chance but, not a dude with a successful history already. I mean who the hell was Chris Pratt five years ago. A nobody. Yet some studio head gave him GOTG.
