More than the $7 billion that it cost to buy?

Who expects a $7 billion investment to pay for itself in just 2 years? :mjlol:

All these acquisitions on both sides are gonna take time before they really start to bear fruit. RedFall flopped but Deathloop, HiFi Rush, and Starfield were all hits so I’m sure Xbox is happy so far

Do you actually think Sony made back their $3.5 billion from Bungie since the deal closed in 2022? They’re not gonna see any real ROI on that until Marathon drops and has been out for a while

Billion dollar corporate mergers and acquisitions aren’t as simple as flipping furniture and cars for cash on Facebook Marketplace brehs:mjlol:

That’s…exactly my point.

I’m telling the OP to get back at me in 20 years when this shyt actually breaks even.

Out here making announcements on a relatively small revenue when compared against the cost of the acquisition.

Well the release of Starfield led to Xbox's largest Q1 ever, but I guess that's not newsworthy on a forum where stans make circle jerk threads talking about Sony's 4% increase in monthly hardware sales in Istanbul :hubie:

"Money" doesn't really matter for M$. The market cap is like $2 trillion........

Obviously they don't want to lose financially but right now, their focus seems to be on finding their lane.

Nintendo does what it does

Sony has been big on exclusives particularly single player.

M$ will not move as many consoles as Sony or Nintendo so they gotta win a different way...which means how they ultimately measure success may look different. Either way, more competition between M$ and Sony is good for us. Finishing Horizon Forbidden West on PS5, then I'll flip over to XSX Starfield and then go back to PS5 for Spider-Man 2. More game >>>>> less games

Increases in GP pricing and a starving user base lead to their biggest Q1.

:snooze:
