Kylo Ren is a terrible villain. Darth was actually a little scary. Especially in TESB
but Kylo Ren is Just trust a fund baby from outer space:heh:.

Vader was conflicted too but for different reasons.

Ren is just some kid that basically turned to the dark side. He still shows characteristics of being unsure of himself and he got owned by Rey in the Force Awakens that also weakened his character in my opinion.

I would have let Rey take L's to him until the final chapter.

I'm not sure what they are doing with Finn's character either he started out looking like a main player now he's very obviously a supporting character to Rey and Kylo. They flirted with a little romance between him and Rey in the Force Awakens, but it was obvious they started moving in a different direction in The Last Jedi.

Another major flaw, just like the article mentioned, just character reveals with no development.

There’s a whole story that could have been developed between Luke and Ben’s riff. But it was just treated as a simple incident

I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't revisited in the years to come in the form of a prequel or something similar to how they did Anakin's backstory to how he became Darth Vader.

Disney will figure out a way to keep milking these Star Wars movies because they are a cash cow.

There's levels to the foundation...being force aware, you still can't beat a person that's trained and force aware(not even talmbowt Jedi or Sith)
how could they allow J.J Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy to fawk up the entire franchise by neglecting to uphold fundamental concepts, to pander to an audience that is only loyal to the Micky Mouse brand
