That's the only way he can go up. Homeboy got no hoops
:yeshrug:Hops ain't everything, especially in the post. You got 2 perfect examples on the Clippers right now. Them athletic nikkas got abused by that same Memphis frontcourt and couldn't give back in return cause they don't have the skill. Hops are nice, especially for highlights, but a skilled big in the low post is much rarer and more valuable these days than a  athlete. Monroe game will age very well because it doesn't rely on athleticism, and with Drummind he's got the frontcourt mate to mask his deficiencies.

Saw a stat that said Billups is 6 for 36 on game game tying/go ahead shots since 2005

:comeon: That might be true for a real game changing go to star , but are you saying that greg monroe would be more valuable than anthony davis, andre drummond, serge ibaka types because he got a post move.
That's like saying Wes welker is better than randy moss.

Deandre Jordan is a bum and wasn't Blake hurt last year in the offs.

Look, if you wanna have a valid discussion in all for it. Serge Ibaka doesn't belong in that group and Monroe is definitely more valuable than him. He's a solid helpside defender who's only other redeeming quality is a solid j. He can't generate any of his own offense and is a weak man defender and rebounder. You putting him into the category with Drummond and Davis is a perfect example of a nikka getting overrated because of his athleticism.

As far as the other's, Davis doesn't even fall into the discussion because I said low post skills vs athleticism, and clearly Davis has some skill to accompany his gifts. And the thing with Drummond is that his athletic gifts are rarely seen in a person that size, and he's an exceptional rebounder. Your not really speaking to what I stated, honestly. Just throwing out some baseless comparisons.

Monroe > a healthy Blake by a long shot. Chris Paul plays better in the post than Blake does :russ: Josh Smith is a better/more skilled version of Blake if you want to go there even.

Davis, Drummond, Ibaka are all in the same/of the same template though, Monroe is in the Randolph, Duncan (:whoa:a low budget version) mold of a player. We have the best out of that crop anyway (Drummond).

You can run an offense through Monroe (guy could be a triple double threat) it's been proven, i'd rather see that than it going through Smith all of the time, he is capable at spots though. Him and Drum are the perfect compliments to each other, the front line is gift wrapped right now, why break that up?

I'd rather see the offense go thru Kyle singler than josh smith:lolbron:why break it up, one reason is that josh smith is here and he is not a sf and that contract is not going anywhere, then some idiot is gonna offer Monroe a max deal this summer and pistons will have to overpay him. The perfect compliment for Drummond would be somebody that can shoot.

You said Monroe game is not based on althletism, but is he truly a back to the basket throw the ball into the post and watch him work type of player. Or does he like to get it out a Lil more and face up and attempt to drive and wheel and deal? :mjpls:
