You mean the year he shot 37% and showed everybody he was a shot chucker?

He wasn't efficient when you factor that he shot a pretty great percentage from 3 and was asked to shoulder the offensive load as a rookie. Certainly Burke and MCW haven't played shoulders above so far to make me think they aren't susceptible to stagnating like Jennings did.

My bad I thought you was saying kcp was a defensive anchor.

A true pg floor general can take a team of bums and make em all better.

Tell Chris Paul that.

Are you saying Burke and MCW will be that? too early to tell pop.

Took chauncey six years and the right system.

Im a Jennings guy, but the problem i have with him is i dont think he believes he's that guy yet. He cares too much about outside opinions. He's showing flashes of leadership, I think he still needs to mesh w these guys.

A pg is the most important position on the floor.
Who the hell you think trading their picks for smith or Jennings :bryan:and Monroe can't be traded this summer cause he'll be a RFA
We all want kcp to work out but non of us know what he's gonna be. Homeboy hasn't even shot 40% in a game yet. I think Burke and MCW will be better players.
Disagree. PG is not the most important. Other than Tony Parker what great pg has won a championship recently. PG is probably the strongest position in NBA right now. Chris Paul is pretty much consensus top pg but got outplayed by Conley in playoffs last year. And there are a dozen others any given night that can play on part with paul. Jennings has a lot of faults but is as talented as any pg in league

Burke and MCW showed in college that they could play pg and distribute the ball.

I agree about Chauncey though.

Problem with a lot of these younger players like Jennings is that they too busy wanting to be a star and make the big shoots. How about make the big pass fool.

You know this whole generation grew up idolizing :aicmon:

Very nice start. They seem to have a spring to their step.

Did anyone see the tweets from Brandon talking about a lack of confidence in his shots?I'll link it later.

But damn, They are playing impressive ATM.

Jorts is a boss! He runs the floor with all his might! Play that man!

It's the NETS but I'll take it. The box score is well rounded. we saw restraint from both Smith and Jennings. Greater overall Production from the rest of the team. Harrellson is proving his worth. He reminds me of Jon Belushi. Jennings shot 2 of 10, but still good game overall. When one of their guys goes off (Joe Johnson 30 pts) and we still win then Im all for it.

I saw some chemistry tonight. Ball movement. and players working to get open. Good overall effort.
