Bynum is handling the pg duties in crunch timeThompson has been a man possessed in the 4th.
Kyrie, for all the flak he takes, has been setting up his teammates beautifully down the stretch. Jennings could learn from that...
Even still, he should be on the court over Monroe down the stretch. I still can't believe they haven't traded him.Bynum is handling the pg duties in crunch time
Drummond is gonna have to get the free throw% up. That nikka worse than Chris Dudley.
I wouldn't be surprised if they make a trade to attempt to make the playoffs by trading stuckey and Charlie v.Even still, he should be on the court over Monroe down the stretch. I still can't believe they haven't traded him.
Drummond missed that last box out on Thompson though.
Charles Barkley rips Detroit Pistons: 'They've got some idiots on that team'
First, the Detroit Lions have no clue how to play football. Now, the Detroit Pistons have idiots on their team.
That doesn’t include Andre Drummond, however.
Those have been the words of former NBA star Charles Barkley the past few weeks in regard to a pair of underachieving Detroit pro sports teams, the Pistons remarks coming Friday night during the NBA Rising Stars game in which Drummond participated.
Drummond scored 30 points, grabbed 25 rebounds and was named MVP of the game that featured all rookie and second-year NBA players.
Barkley, now an “NBA on TNT” analyst, ripped Drummond’s Pistons during a break in action.
“He’s a terrific player who’s playing with those other idiots up in Detroit. And they’re not going to win,” Barkley said.
When the rest of the “NBA on TNT” panel, including Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith, questioned that statement, Barkley continued: “They’ve got some idiots on that team. They’ve got some talented players who are not going to ever get it.”
Last month, Barkley told Rich Eisenon “The Rich Eisen Podcast” that the Lions, fresh off an underwhelming 7-9 season, had no clue how to play football, saying having talent doesn’t mean it will lead to success.
That seems to be his exact criticism of the Pistons who, despite adding Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings in the off-season, are 22-30 at the All-Star break and sitting outside the Eastern Conference playoff picture. On Sunday, they fired first-year coach Maurice Cheeks.
At least Barkley is talking about his own sport this time.
Listen for yourself.

Lord please let this happen
A starting conversation, however, would likely involve both Josh Smith and Rodney Stuckey for Ben Gordon, Ramon Sessions and one of three young players-- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Gerald Henderson or Cody Zeller. Detroit should quietly enter the discussions being ready to execute a simple Smith/Gordon swap, but the conversation would start around a young asset.

Zeller or Henderson would be a perfect fit...
