NP. I feel like hair is one of the many ways blacks get to express themselves and we can rock any hairstyle that's been created. The older i get the more I change the way I wear mine, for me it symbolizes personal growth and change.

i have almost waist length hair when it's straightened.
i was just referring to the fact that my natural curl pattern is so tight that my hair only grows out and gets bigger at this point, not longer, so there's nothing amazing about 12 inches of growth because it will only look like 2 inches

same. i got a blowout a few couple of weeks ago and was shocked at how long my hair really is.

That's too much work to do all of that just to get long hair. I just stopped straightening my hair and it grew like weeds.

I think it's more so for a healthy scalp than long hair, the growing is just a bonus.

Be careful not to harm yourself. I don't know much about flat irons, more of a precautionary statement. I highly recommend coconut oil for hair, skin, injestion, etc.!

It doesn't get that hot and I'm just curling the ends of my hair, not the whole length. That would take too long.
