-That the players (any sport) in the 80's were better, smarter and tougher than players of today. Totally false, they had MORE scrubs, MORE dumb players, and just as many soft players. Today's players aren't softer, today's RULES are softer.



-Michael Jordan was loved by everyone Jordan got the Kobe/Lebron treatment until he lead his team to a championship. Jordan was looked upon as great yes, but they called him a chucker, selfish, and said he wouldn't ever win a ring being that way. His peers were jealous and they didn't like him like you youngsters would believe, people didn't really take to MJ until he won RINGS because they couldn't hate on him anymore ala Kobe and Lebron.
Oh, MJ gets way too much credit for the game of basketball. You'd think he invented every move, won very game by himself, never got served, never missed clutch shots and won a ring every year he played.

Is true. Enough players didn't like MJ and didn't really respect him until he started winning. You was a lonely man in your circle/world but before the 90's people loved him BUT he was criticized in the sports world. Think pre-Dynasty the hate wasn't on the level of KObe/Bron (of course media was different) but he had many detractors. You're forgetting how MJ had to prove himself.
