Breh you gotta play Gerrard/Adam/Henderson and Lucas holding in the middle in a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3 Carroll and Suarez up top. Pool are shyt in the game so you really have to park the middle, maybe even 3 man midfield.

I picked marseille randomly, would prefer porto now i think of it but i'll just stick with marseille

I've found that a 4-2-3-1 works rather well with Pool. Lucas and Adam as the holders, Stevie MBE in the hole, Carroll as striker, Kuyt/Downing/Fraudez on the wings.

Cept I play 4-2-3-1 with custom tweaks with every team I use, that could be it. Pool are hard to play with though, best to just shuttle the ball to the wings, have the fullbacks overlap for more options and whip in crosses to Carroll all day.
