I have no problem with the suits. Not hipster. Dudes are busting out the seersucker suits + bow ties like the Orville Reddenbocker clothes-horse niggrums in D.C. have worn for DECADES.

Dress pants + oxford shirt + sweater == business casual (or preppy if you're still a student). Professionals & students in the northeastern USA layer their clothes like that often during cold winters. Folks in, say, CA or FL would have less need for such layers.

--The chunky glasses are PURE HIPSTER, esp'ly without lenses.
--Also hipster: buttoning ALL THE BUTTONS on your shirt when you're not wearing a necktie or bow tie.
--Hipster: wearing digital watches with large faces & several buttons. Men wore those during the 80s, but the watches were more functional & not so often brightly colored.
--Next these OKC boys will show up for press conferences clutching graphing calculators...
