Don't bet against the O's!!!!! Who was winning us the money most nights in 2014? O's at home are always the play when push comes to shove. Chen need to keep dealing if it gets to the pins I like my chances with Ausmus braindead ass making the calls.

damn every game is over in mlb playoffs, like 6-1

I seriously don't think they did a good job at setting these lines (in the tigers/orioles series) and this dodger game. I think they were set way too low. Scherzer and Verlander just aren't the pitchers they were in previous years and the orioles have solid pitchers but no real aces........Detroit's bullpen is dumpster fire too. Plus Camden yards is a hitters park and both teams are amongst the best in the league as far as hitting.

I thought 5.5 was way too low for Kershaw and wainwright as well. I probably would have set it at 6.5

2 games went under.....The DC/SF game went under and the angels/royals game went under. That royals/athletics game that had an over/under of 6.5 felt like a trap tho.....the whole world was on the under.

it seems like everyone is overrating the importance of starting pitching, and ignoring the playoff angle

"don't bet against verlander" ignores the whole bullpen (2nd half) of the game and playoff nerves

Starting pitching is a big factor but I've learned all year between Tigers games (and Seattle games) that middle relief and closers are a big part of handicapping baseball successfully......management is also key.

The dumbest bet I've laid this post season was on the Angels -170 game 1.....I'll probably never lie that type of juice again in the playoffs. I thought for sure they would hammer Vargas.....didn't happen.
