yeah, it's called middling. There's actually big time sports bettors that do nothing else but try to middle on totals because there's essentially zero to very little risk because at worst you lose only a little if the middle loses.

Honestly, in-game wagering at a lot of books is a way to just lure more bets on both sides. Youwager for example, they purposely put out live lines on nights where they get heavy action and that side is losing just to get even more losing bets when people chase.

It's funny when there's nights where they say it's "a management decision" to not offer live betting

Best live betting for just totals and sides is probably betonline or sportsbetting.ag

Heritage just added live betting but I can speak for their software. Bovada has live betting, too, but it's mostly weird prop shyt that's pretty useless unless you're a complete degen who wants to wager on how far the kick returner brings the ball back or some shyt

Pretty much, I'm not big on it though. I've rarely gotten middles. Easiest way I've been able it to pull off sometimes is buying the hook on a 3.5 or 7.5 line and one side gets a push and the other side gets the half hook advantage and sometimes i've even bought all the way down to 2.5 or 6.5 and middled big time that way.

That's really, really rare though. The amount of juice you have to give up combined with the odds of hitting a sharp line like that are pretty high
