Basically to win a -10 bet the team has to be up by like 18 with under 5 minutes left.

I've been scrreed many times in the past on a spread like -10 or -11 team up 18 scrub backups come in.

Team down is still playing their starters they move the ball at ease touchdown suddenly your bet it just a push, onside kick, other team recovers. They run out the clock as you hope for a TD or even a field goal
