They can be very political. Leo has been nominated a bunch of times and never won, McCoughnahey (sic) has never won, but he has the artsier movie with Dallas Buyers Club and Leo is nominated for a movie that's more about fun.It's really a toss up but considerable edge has to be given to McCoughnahey (sic) because he went full-on method actor in his portrayal of a AIDS infected fakkit.

Dallas Buyers Club as a movie is better than 12 years a slave in my opinion, but I'm afraid the academy is going to give a pandering best picture award to 12 years a slave because of the subject matter
