...cant believe im the first one to bring this up... just start a fire around the cabin and keep the snakes away cause they dont like fire
a few people brought this up and it's completely unrealistic.
snakes may not like fire but they're attracted to the heat. so what's your plan>? cus i'd imagine you'd get bit while looking for enough wood to burn.
Well there is a lighthouse on the island. So people built the lighthouse....and it prolly took more than a week to build....so people clearly stayed their for a week before. So its not like its impossible.
But at a snake per square meter....doesnt that mean there has to be snake food every square meter as well? If they eat the birds....and there are 100,000 snakes on that island...then theres gotta be like 500,000 birds on the island right?

But yeah...theres no way someone would be able to harvest enough firewood to burn for a week in a complete circle around the cabin without getting bit.
And its not like these nikkas know how to properly build a damn fire anyway. I been in the woods plenty of times and created my own fires...that shyt isnt exactly easy. And all I was building was a small fire to roast some marshmallows. These nikkas talkin about building a raging inferno with like a 20 foot radius around a cabin?

sometimes it's hard to tell online
but for those who are serious. even if they succeeded at building a huge fire fort. they would still die from smoke inhalation before the weeks up. after watching the vice video, i'd probably stay directly on the outskirts, far away from any trees or bushes. set up a simple tent and stay there for 7 days wrapped in my sleeping bag.
