Well why he aint do it the first fight? Ggg always has fought the same.
He did before he gassed...

When Nelo let his hands go he was scoring easy...

Problem was he was fighting in spurts because his stamina was basura...

He didn't pace himself well the first fight, was tense and bulky which is why he gassed...

Hence why his camp was more focused on his endurance for this fight...

Regardless what is said in the media, they know odds are you're not going to knock this guy out...His bone density is T1000...

So this time around I expect Nelo to be looser and pace himself better looking to counter more on the inside with the uppercut...Lil G approach isn't changing, patience and quick hands on the inside is the key...Lil G robotic approach leaves his chin exposed to that uppercut...

Man was gassing when he was at 154....aint gonna change. I still picked em to win tomorrow tho bc despite me picking on his stamina issue...GGG still didn't do damage against a gassed Canelo even tho i felt he won the first fight

Breh haven’t u heard? Him coming in lighter is going to help him with stamina, u know before the argument was when he moved up in weight stamina wouldn’t be a issue cuz he didn’t have to cut that much weight any more.

He also looked so good in the first fight with his speed they decide to come in lighter to help with his speed even more.

Does that even make sense?

Dude is almost 70 fights into his career....if he aint fix his stamina issues by now, it'll NEVER happen
That's what I keep saying. You can't retrain your genetics. Dude just gasses :yeshrug:. He may need better pacing, but he won't be able to do it this fight with GGG stalking him all night. GGG is not going to be as timid this fight

Canelo didn't look very different to me. I think a big part of that talk is ppl had this expectation that he gonna look a lot smaller so they overstated the difference they saw according to this expectation. Canelo weighed in with half pounds less than last time I doN't think that's gonna count shyt... GGG also weighed with a quarter pound less than last time.

As I see it Canelo has to mix 2 things to win

When he was better than GGG in the first fight was usually when they exchanged blows in the middle of the ring and when he was moving laterally making Golovkin miss and countering. If he can mix up these 2 things and draw Golovkin in his direction, box him a little then step in exchange a little, hug and reset he has a good chance of winning it.
If he doesn't let his hands go enough and doesn't realize that it was a bad idea to go to the ropes against Golovkin even if he's usually comfortable at the ropes he probably gonna lose.
If he moves then exchanges in the middle then hugs to reset he can make the rhythm of the fight staggered too and won't gas as much as if he would always just move or always exhange. Very different styles but interestingly I think if he would do a strategy similar to what Porter did against Swift last weekend he would have a good chance of winning.

Other way to beat GGG like pressure guys is to force them to go backwards and not be on the front foot where they are truly comfortable. GGG sometimes did nice as a boxer too though but it's easy to be the "boxer" against someone like Lemieux who doesn't have a lot of tools to come at you if you have a good jab. I'm thinking about how Sor beat Chocolatito especially the rematch. He just blasted through him forced him to stand or go backwards, didn't give him forward momentum. But that's something Canelo can't do cause he is neither physically stronger nor a bigger puncher than GGG. So he should stick with the mixture of boxing from the outside + swift exchanges in the pocket.

i just dont think canelo can train for stamina at this point in his career
especially when you factor in the year off and the possibilty of "over training"
hes gonna tire
the fight will come down to how much triple g pressures canelo in comparison to last fight
could create some crazy counter punching opportunities for canelo. if it goes 12, i think triple g wins
