It's been four years actually. I just read issue #1. It's Black Label so it's not in continuity. But neither was The Killing Joke, until John Ostrander put a paralyzed Oracle in Suicide Squad. So it will depend on how well it's received I guess. It's not bad. While it's called Batman: Three Jokers, without spoiling things, I get the impression that there has been more than three. This is just covering the three main ones. The Criminal, the original Joker. The Clown, (The Joker's Five Way Revenge). The Comedian, (The Killing Joke). So far it's pretty interesting. It's only three issues. So as long as there aren't any major delays, I might just give a fukk enough to care. My only worry, is that it will be well received, and future writers will turn around and have multiple fukking Jokers running around.

So according to this story, which isn't canon(?), there has always been more than 1 Joker? Or is this some multiversal crap that Batman has found himself in?

It’s not in continuity?!? That feels like a bit of a cop out from how it got presented during the Darkseid Wars. I thought they implied there were 3 in the main timeline. I was looking forward to seeing DC try and reconcile this.

Kinda yes and no. Scott Snyder is writing Justice League now and I think he has a bit more sway than Geoff Johns at the moment. Johns had Doomsday Clock, where it's pretty much said that it's Dr. Manhattan's hand at the beginning of time. But Snyder has Perpetua and she's the mother of all existence. There's some fukkshyt going on over there. Plus with Rebirth, they had essentially rebooted again. Plus, this also screws with Snyder's run on Batman, and everything that happened in Endgame, and what he established with the Pale Man. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not thrilled with the idea of three Jokers. So they shuffled it off to Black Label to see how it does.

DC continuity is such a cluster fukk. I pretty much only read Superman, Action, Shazam, and a handful of event books. I was confused as fukk when I started reading the current Dark Knight Metal event. I was trying to figure out how many other events I missed to get to that point.

Dark Knight Metal is all from Scott Snyder. So it's in line with what he's doing with Justice League. DKM and his run on Justice League, are the jumping on points for everything going on in DC right now. You should go back to read everything after the first DKM, because the Batman who Laughs did a lot with main continuity Batman.

I'm a huge DC fan, but I was pretty much done after they scrapped Rebirth. Especially when they dropped everything with Wally West, and ruined the Super Sons by aging up Jonathan to be an older teen. That was a great title that had huge potential. People always say that Superman isn't relatable. They gave him a young son. There could have been a Super Sons cartoon, toys, video games. They fukked it all up, because DiDio wanted to do that 5G crap, that Snyder gave the middle finger to.
