True but D-Wade falls into that category and I'd say he was alright :manny:
Wade was absolutely good enough to be the MVP and had a career trajectory unlike other stars in that his prime was stuck in between Heat teams that competed for titles and that it was shorter than most star's was due to knee injuries. If he was healthy and on good teams from 2006-07 through 2009-10 then I'm pretty sure he'd have taken one home himself.

It still feels weird to have stars and big time free agents treat us like we're not a premier organization out here. :hhh:

FA is when Riley usually does his magic too:francis:

This team doesn't have any AS players(WS will likely be one next year), it's to be expected. Wade was a major factor in getting Bron and Bosh.

We all been spoiled to a degree by the once in a lifetime happenings of 2010. I mean, 2 years ago Lamarcus Aldridge requested a meeting with Riley when we literally had 0 cap space. We were one of 5 or 6 teams KD wanted to talk to last year. 1 of 3 teams the premier wing free agent met with this year. Those alone say this is a premier organization. And in each case you can't really argue against the decision the player made, we're still a factor but its not going to roll our way every time. Keep building and developing from within.

bring back the 30-11 Gang Gang. They provided sheer entertainment and ultra-competitiveness...keep that going while the young bucks continue to develop and hope someone (winslow?) takes a monster leap.

also deactivate McRobber's keycard and deny him access to the parking garage and team facilities while you're at it.

We're probably still selling sacrifice and family...nikkas ain't trying to hear that no more

I guess so. It's weird to think that players don't respect our squad and wanna roll with us though. I can understand the media, other stupid fans, etc.

But players? It crazy.

When Winslow puts up Kawhi numbers this year :banderas:

If Winslow shot as good as rookie Kawhi then I'd be happy. Let's hope he can get to that level because I know you ain't comparing him to superstar Kawhi unless he 'bout to hop up in here on the summer league competition :pachaha:

Yeah, we're probably spoiled but players coming and meeting us in Miami doesn't mean too much to me because...we're Miami. Lots of players like to have an excuse to come down here, get wined and dined, and enjoy the Miami life for a bit. :beli:

I'm just salty. I was hoping Hayward would be our door to start recruiting other good players since Hassan and Dragic don't seem to get the respect they should :upsetfavre:

So who can we sign, besides Waiters and JJ?

That matters?

Ehh...30 year old Rudy Gay, fresh off an ACL injury. Derrick Rose. Jaymichael Green.

There's players out there but they're journeymen and scraps like the rest of our squad.

Maybe Tyreke Evans? :skip:

Miami tends to do ok with stopgap players. I'm sure they'll find something that stays the course. :manny:

Had the team around him been better he would have taken the 2009 MVP by a landslide. But sadly Beasley was weak and the rest of the squad was pretty much one year rentals

Alright moving on.

I'm still all for JJ's return but Waiters... ? only at the right price/terms.
