man look, I just try to make yall see the realistic side of this stuff man. we all fans, some of yall are young. some fall in love with the potential of some these young players. love shyt like "development" and "culture" but the truth is if cleveland said we could have Kyrie for Goran, Justise, and another player, Pat Riley would drive all 3 of them to the airport asap.

man I saw some heat fan say some something like Justise and Wiggins have similar skill sets.
Wiggins has his flaws, but he clearly is a better player than Justise and its not close right now.

you don't win anything in the nba without stars. PERIOD. full stop. right now, the Heat don't have any stars, nor do they have any potential big time stars.
and that includes winslow.

how naive do you have to be to believe that the HEAT haven't made that offer it's probably not an "official" offer yet, but they damn sure made it.

I am sure we are doing our due diligence like with Hayward. I won't believe anything until a trade is official. Personally I am fine with our team.

due diligence? man Riley was the 1st person on the phone when he heard this news. he would give up anyone on the roster for Irving. the fact is, those "assets" just aren't that appealing. if something works out in miami's favor, it'll be because cleveland couldn't get something better elsewhere.

From Whiteside not getting the all star-all nba looks, to McGruder getting snubbed on the all-rookie selections. Nobody who watches basketball objectively going to tell me JJ wasnt worthy of an all defense nod

Sorry but you dont know shyt in this regard breh. Winlsow is 21 with 1 year of pro basketball under his belt. Bam just turned 20 and we dont even know what his ceiling is. We dont know what either of them are going to be or NOT going to be at this juncture.

I'm also not the kool aid drinker that a lot of you are. and to be clear, when I say star, I'm talking about a #1 guy on a championship contender. he won't ever be that, no matter how much "culture" he has. and no matter how bad yall wish for it.

can he be a good player, yes. a contributor on a good team, absolutely. but he won't ever be an all nba or superstar player. as for Bam, he probably won't be either. I don't look at the Heat or any of my favorite sports teams through the childish eyes some of yall do. I look at them through reality.

The bolded doesnt even make sense. Curry for example arrived as a super star around 25/26. PG and Butler are 27 and 28, when have you ever seen guys break the mold from all star to superstar at that age? They are what they are. It's generational guys, stars, and role players, thats it.

Heat Deny Offering Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow To Cavs For Kyrie Irving

The Miami Heat have denied making an offer of Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving.

In the wake of that report, the Heat took the rare step under the leadership of Pat Riley of publicly denying that any offer, of any sort, had been made for Irving.

The Heat believe the Cavaliers are asking for too much in exchange for Irving.

Irving has three years remaining on a contract that pays $18.9 million this coming season.
