Stamp I play emotionless every morning before I go to work.“When I’m standin in front of da judge, don’t cry(don’t cry) cuz mama raised one hell of a thug!”
Ahhh yes The Dipset Stan days
Album is def a classic
The build up was already there but I remember when summer wit Miami dropped it solidified Capo was about to drop some heat…
Bought the CD the first day it came out too back when target had first week releases for $10…
Frfr Capo discog is slept on
super underrated. I used to play the fukk out on my way to the church. Only one way up, jamaican joint, end of the road, this is jim jones. So many bangers
Ryder music was pretty good too
Wasted Talent was the last album from his that really caught my ear...That joint has some bangers....gotta play the game, dust&powder definitely still gets plays....
Thats the thing tho Jim was never much of an MC in the technical..acquired taste fa sho...But he spit with that raw gritt and emotion nxggas fukk wit...Plus he had a good ear for beats and knew how to network outside of NYC.....
I remember having a discussion with one of my homies who is a bronx cat and former dipset stan that Harlem is one the best hometown odes ever made...You could make a argument for it being the best frfr...
It beats played out Nas and Jay threadsI listened to this album but seeing it broken down is still funny.
at the end of the day its Jim Jones
