they had some no knock warrant which his name wasn't on and the city said they were outlawing.
He probably grabbed the gun when he heard someone trying to unlock the door with a key like any sane person would do..they should be saying police as they are unlocking the door

the way they framing it in the video that @JJ Lions posted already tells me that none of them will face any real reprimands. they just gonna say they saw the gun and it was an OK shooting cuz of that ignoring all the other factors of the situation.
