I don't think Khan exposed anything we didn't already know. Most fighters have problems against those who are quick on their feet and have quick hands. It takes a while to get the timing right, just look at Floyd vs Zab for example.
I think it's stupid to use this fight as a measuring stick of how a ggg fight would turn out. Khan and ggg fight nothing alike AT ALL. The only question mark in that fight would be Canelo's endurance because ggg does everything Canelo prefers his opponents to do.

great post. people who said Canelo did nothing in the early rounds are just bullshytting. Floyd would need to adjust to khan same way. khan completely broke down starting in round 4 for a reason. Canelo was sneaking some great work in there.

once again. people over exaggerated like crazy. khan was hanging in there but Canelo was putting in work from the start. it's like people only paid attention to khan's speed without noticing how much he was actually missing....only landed 28% of his total punches.

Canelo landed more in every round and at a higher percentage. I had it 3-2 for khan. and the first coulda really went either way. khan was feeling the pain early. the little bit of slow down was all canelo needed to finish it off. look at the body shot comparisons.......khan didn't break down for no reason:CaneLOL:

Canelos beating ALL them welterweights right now....probably by KO. pretty much everybody said Canelo would need a couple rounds to adjust to khan's speed like everybody does and would, including floyd. it's like some people seen khan doing better than expected and go to the extreme with it. khan was missing a lot in there. Canelo systematically broke that dude down. he never looked worried at all.

canelo went in there and almost immediately started throwing off balance wild left hooks. then out of nowhere he threw a crisp clean one that cut khan open. he was setting all kinds of traps in the ring last night. he wanted khan to get false confidence from the jump. Canelo has already beaten boxing tacticians like lara and trout. a hall for of famer in cotto. Canelo does have weaknesses but his ring IQ is ridiculous.

Khan is like the 5th best welterweight though.. I think Manny, Thurman, Porter, Brook would've done better stylistically, hell maybe even Spence or Vargas. I just had to come to the realisation Khan dont have the punching power to bother Canelo at 155
