If you think the WBC (mexican commision) gonna allow a 25 year old Mexican fighter with a huge fiollowing and proven PPV status to drop a belt and give it to a 34 year old fighter who hasn't fought a pulse and bombed on PPV , then you are absolutely batshyt stupid
This sport is a business. The only reason 97g still gets thrown around with the name of Canelo is because he's a HBO slave. Nobody in the biz world give a flying jungle monkey fukk about Golovbin 97g as a fighter. All the reps he's getting is because HBO invested major money on him and built him. HBO still hasn't recouped from the 97g PPV. Commisions and media rank him because they have to be in the good with the biggest boxing network in the world.
