Folks Already Complaining About Boondocks Season #4 (Just because the creator didn't contribute)

People never cease to amaze me people are complaining about Season #4 of "The Boondocks" just because they know the creator Aaron Mcgruder wasn't apart of the writing process...

To be 100% real I just saw a trailer for Season #4 and I can't tell a damn difference.
People just want to complain to complain.

I have confidence in the writing team and all the voice over actors.

Let's not act like every episode of The Boondocks was solid gold...
The Kick ball episode was garbage...
The Riley basketball episode was garbage...
The Itis episode was garbage...
The Wing Men episode was garbage...

and realize how important it is to have the creators VISION included

He had to pull a DAVE CHAPPELLE cause them filks at that the netwirk were robbing him of his creative control and intellecrual property

The fact that the creater is not involved feels like they will exploit the wrong aspects of the show..it's not the creators vision anymore so it won't come off genuine or authentic..I won't be watching..

Agree with Op, most people on this board are idiots and sheep. You haven't even seen this season but already in their minds the season sucks and they have let the fact that the creator isnt their completely warp and skew a little 2 minute season trailer. If you never found out Mcgruder wasnt involved you would have a different view on the trailer. This board can be so exhausting and disgusting with some of you clowns.

cant judge before i see it, but mcgruder created boondocks as social satire. given the nature of his convictions over the years and the nature of people that just want to get checks, it says something about him departing and what it could mean for the show. i realize some of you might be street teaming or whatever but people are not stupid, you cant reasonably ask people to "get with the program" on this

I created The Boondocks two decades ago in college, did the daily comic for six years, and was showrunner on the animated series for the first three seasons. That quote sounds to me like he got tired of doing the show and finally said fukk it especially now that we know he doing Black Jesus. Like @My Girl is Bow Legged stated though he didnt really say why he was leaving just that Hollywood is a business. I personally think they got tired of waiting for him to write another season and got someone else to do it. I remember when season 2 ended he was talking about he was going on a sabbatical or some shyt and needed a break and it took forever for it to come back. He did the same shyt with the comic dragging his feet to write shyt. Networks aint having that shyt. He's notorious for being on CPT time. I think the show will be in good hands and everyone needs to calm down.
