So let me get this straight, @LionofJudah is saying that Trans-Atlantic slaves (African Americans, Jamaicans, etc) aren't actually Africans, but the real Jews who were captured and enslaved by real Africans (who are Hamites, descendants of Noah's son who because cursed with dark skin), hence the supposed difference between the two blacks.



Not being Black American myself and instead African British (thus being an Immigrant), I don't know how to feel about this. Feels even weirder knowing that I'm Somali and know that my country was apparently someway involved in Islamic slavery, letting Arabs enslave Bantus and such.

Agreed with the red and I don't care if people call me a c00n. What I find ironic is that black people of the new world(mainly AA's) whose ancestors came from West Africa or shall we say the Western Sudanic had close contact with Arabs and Egyptians. And Arabs never enslaved their ancestors but instead really tried to mirror. Yet we have black people in the diaspora ignorantly saying Arabs enslaved their ancestors. No they only bought East Africans(who they dont descend from) from other Muslim East Africans themselves. Meanwhile the Trans Sahara trade had little to do with slavery and Arabs and other foreigners were UNDER THE THUMB of West African emperors. Not only that but were said to be inferior compared to the people of Western Sudan too.

Well, the whole 'curse of Ham' or Canaan doesn't play into this in anyway. It's not even clear if there was actually a 'curse', it appears it was just something Noah said while he was drunk and angry. But the rest of what you said is correct. Everybody lumps Blacks in with each other because we are Black and it's incorrect. The Nation of Israel is like the sands of the sea and mixed in all nations, so some people who identify themselves as something like African could actually be Israelites, but it all depends on where their lineage traces back to on their dads side. In that case, they wouldn't be Hamites, but Shemites.

The Islamic slave trade isn't as well documented, but all I ever see are people saying that Arab's only enslaved East Africans who weren't already Muslims because "Muslims don't enslave Muslims" (which I find weird since didn't these Arabs forcibly convert slaves?). Whenever Somalis are involved, people only talk about how much we were involved in letting Arabs enslave others. Even some claimed that the Italians forbid Somalis to own slaves.

I go to America ALOT and I have alot of black american friends. In my life before I joined this forum I never heard this 'Black Americans are originally Jews' logic.

Do black people in America honestly really believe they are Jewish descendants and Africans are 'hamites'

In my reading and writing days I used to do extensive reading into African American history and I have never read this b4.

is it a 'thing' over there that you guys really think you're Jews? do you guys believe that ?

nah, they are a fringe group.

i didn't hear about it until i came across these weirdos videos on youtube. (actually before hand, but i ignored these guys on a soapbox yelling at the corner) they want to fight everything w/spirituality when the real powers in the money. but apparently there is something to their rhetoric, i'm not sure how right they are because i dont care.
