FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR. LAUGHS AT AND WARNS AMIR KHAN: "HE CAN'T OUT-THINK FLOYD...FLOYD'S GONNA PUNISH HIM"

BT: Talk to me a little bit about Amir Khan real quick. Like you said, for his last several fights, Floyd's been fighting guys that are typically a lot bigger than him. Stylistically, Amir Khan presents a different kind of look. He's not a big puncher and he's not a big guy, but he does have speed and he moves around a lot more than guys like Maidana, Alvarez, and Guerrero...
FMS: (Cutting in) Man, come on, man. See, one thing about it, speed is all about timing. Like I said, I know how to alleviate all that, you understand? It's a game where I say pick-sticks. See, they don't know about that. They don't know about pickin' and brushin'. They don't know about all those things that I be knowing. What I'ma do, if Floyd with me, it's going to work. He ain't gotta worry about no Amir Khan. Amir Khan is a joke blowing smoke with no hope.
BT: I recently did an interview with Amir and he told me that not only does he have faster hands than Floyd, but he also believes...
FMS: (Cutting in) Did you hear what I told you earlier? I told you speed is all about timing. It ain't got nothing to do with how fast you are or how fast you throw your punches. If a guy got your timing, you gonna miss him, and if he come back with a punch, you gonna get hit. One thing about all that, he ain't got the mind Floyd got.
BT: It's funny you mention that about him having the mind that Floyd has because that's actually the second thing he said to me. He told me that he's never been out-boxed by another fighter, and becasue he doesn't think Floyd can hurt him, he believes he's got a great chance at winning a chess match with Floyd. What are your thoughts on that comment?
FMS: Oh my God! (Laughing) Man, lookie here, ain't no way in hell...man, he can't out-think Floyd on Floyd's worst day. I'm here to tell you that I'ma be there and I'ma make sure every time he throw a punch, he gonna get countered. He gonna get punished, believe me. You gonna see a whole lot of stuff you ain't seen before. You gonna see up jabs, split jabs, up and down, down and up, pull counters; you gonna see a lot of things where Floyd is gonna be hitting him from angles. Come on, man. I can't wait. Ain't no way in hell you gonna whoop no Floyd. You crazy! Man, lookie here, he gonna find out. After Floyd get done putting this whoopin' on your ass, you ain't gonna know your way across the street. Floyd's gonna punish him. You gotta remember, when he came from England, they wanted me to train him.
BT: I remember that. Did you ever get a chance to workout with him?
FMS: They wanted me to. They wanted me to train with him one day, but my pads wasn't there. It just wasn't meant to be, so it didn't happen. I didn't get a chance to train him, so after awhile, they went and got with Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach, who wouldn't dare to approach; he's a roach, blowing smoke with no hope. Just like Manny, he went from first class to the coach with the roach, and now he'll be sprayed with Raid and underpaid, and at the end of the night, the title will be gone, just like the roach when the lights come on.
