i hate when people apply how fighters were viewed AT THE time and try to apply it to how they viewed now
berto and ortiz were viewed as solid fighters back then
just like during that time period, maidana wasnt considered who he is today
a lot can change with a few wins or a few losses
even in the face off, max was saying floyd is not taking easy in his first fight back by taking on ortiz
and people were saying it was a nice setup for pacquaio floyd since they were both aggressive south paws with power.
and berto was being hyped to the moon (even tho personally, i wasnt 100 percent bought in)
